A Day in the Life:
You’ll start the day catching up with colleagues around the coffee machine in the kitchen, you are then ready to run daily morning data checks and troubleshooting at your desk to make sure the system is ready to go. After this you will run reports and collaborate with the sales team regarding your findings. Before you know it, it’s lunchtime, everyone has an hour, so you may decide to pop into town, go for a walk in the countryside or make use of the onsite gym and showers.
In the afternoon, you undergo some in-house training with the Data Manager, you then have 121 meetings with the sales managers on your day’s findings with the sales team. Then continue with reports and analysing data till it’s time to go home. Start times can flex between 8am and 9am and finish between 4pm and 5pm. However, you can also be flexible and work an evening from home or take a half hour lunch and finish early.
This role can go in several directions, a technical project manager, SQL developer, Data Manager or Senior MI Analyst are just a few possibilities.
It’s a close-knit dynamic team, they will support you to get up to speed on their current systems and you’ll receive both in-house and external training in different technology areas.
The team has a mix of personalities and hobbies ranging from Football to gaming to running and paintball, so conversations are never boring.
We will first discuss the company in more detail, you will then either meet with your future line manager or have a call with him and then you will complete an online SQL technical test.
